26.2 Miles For Kids

When Meagan Malley decided to run the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, she never expected her dad to sign up and run it with her. Now, they’re training for 26.2 miles together, logging lots of miles, having lots of conversations, and getting ready to tackle NYC side by side on November 1.

They’re both running with Team for Kids, which supports programs that help kids build healthy habits and confidence through running and movement. But Meagan has one more goal before they reach the starting line. Her dad’s fundraising deadline is October 7, which also happens to be his birthday. So Meagan is secretly raising money to help him meet his fundraising requirement as a birthday surprise.

On November 1, they’ll take on the NYC Marathon together. But first, Meagan is hoping the Posse and her community can help her pull off one pretty special birthday gift.
